My Story

Native to Utah, I began my love of Art and creating at a young age. I would watch my mother draw and paint; my favorite being a painting of a woman that hung in our home. From a young age, I would lose myself in imagination, finding peace, beauty  and solace as I explored my child's mind. Today I am inspired from personal experience and reflection. As a self-taught artist, I love taking my clay in its raw form and sculpting it into an expression of feeling and emotion. I am drawn to both the human form and abstract as my subject, conveying in my sculptures the beautiful bond between lovers, mother and child, and the emotional connection we all share. I believe art is to inspire you, move you, and touch your soul. Art has no language or cultural barrier. It speaks to everyone. This is my hope as I continue to create.
